Purpose 

Runup barriers are sometimes useful. This feature delivers examples of what happens with changes in distance and barrier height.

How to use Sound Barriers

The Sound Barrier Screen allows the user to select from a variety of environmental factors and noise sources. These changes can all be made through selections on the Sound Barrier Screen and include:

• A drop down sound source menu
• A listener inside/outside box
• A hard or soft ground surface selection box
• Buttons for choosing barrier material, a landscape barrier, or no barrier
• Option boxes to change the heights of the barriers and the width of the trees.
• Option boxes to adjust distance between barrier and source and between listener and barrier

When there is "No Barrier" the distance controller includes a distance-doubling feature.
